Formatting Your Custom Designed Report

For the Formatting menu, check your desired options to include Report Header & Footer and/or Report Title & Description. Once either of the boxes is checked, an additional tab, Format Properties, becomes available in the far-right section of the window.

Design options such as Filter and Report Body, available in the Design window, are also available in this window. Likewise, once any options are checked in this Format window, the header, footer, report title, and report description fields are also available in the Design window. Tip – When sections are expanded, you may need to hover and use the scroll bar to see other sections.

The far left of the screen displays the menu icons for report design. The Format menu icon is highlighted in blue to indicate this is the screen currently being utilized.

Report Header/Report Footer

In the Format window, click the checkbox, Report Header & Footer, located in the left section of the window, to make these two sections available in the middle section of the window. Checking one box gives both the header section and the footer section.

Note that once the option is turned on here, the Report Title & Description fields will also be available in the Design window. You may need to hover and move the scroll bar to see these fields.

Report Title and Description

In the Format window, click the checkbox, Report Title & Description, located in the left section of the window, to make these two fields available in the middle section of the window.
