"Not all records are in a closed pay period" Banner in AccountLinx

Starting in AccountLinx 4.7.8.17, a warning banner has been added above your employees' time cards if the selected date range is not within a closed pay period or if you do not have pay period closing enabled. 

  • If you are using pay period closing, double-check that you have closed the appropriate pay period and the selected date range is correct in AccountLinx.
    • You can still export the time records if you are intentionally exporting a date range outside of a closed pay period, but be aware that this goes against best practices of closing a pay period before exporting to mitigate data disparity.
  • If you are not using pay period closing, you can still export the time record despite the warning. If you are interested in using pay period closing, you can refer to the following article.
