Demographic Info - EEOC/Additional Info

The EEOC Additional Information tab helps the HRIS administrator maintain compliance with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - EEOC.

Your HRIS will create the Employer Information Report EEO-1 which can be printed and mailed to the EEOC.

The Employer Information Report EEO-1, otherwise known as the EEO-1 Report, is required to be filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's EEO-1 Joint Reporting Committee. Reports must be submitted and certified by September 30 yearly at the latest.

When Using Millennium for Payroll

For EZSync accounts in which "Millennium" is selected as the Payroll Provider under Payroll Settings, there are additional fields and functions on this screen.

The Work State column will filter based upon the employer selected on the Employer Mapping tab. This is to prevent the addition of a new hire into a Work State that is not configured for taxes in payroll.

Tax Form will dictate whether or not tax records are generated and maintained for an employee. Changing a W2 employee to either 1099 tax form will result in current tax records being end dated.

A Memo field will appear which allows for payroll-related memos to be stored against an employee record. By checking Show in Pay Entry, the memo will display for the employee in the Payroll Entry screens.

Additional checkboxes appear for W2 reporting purposes:

  • Retirement PLan
  • Statutory
  • Deceased
  • Deferred Comp
  • Seasonal
  • Family
