As an Administrator, you are able to impersonate other employees in the Talent modules. This can be used when trying to troubleshoot or help another employee, by viewing the system as they would.

Adding the Impersonation Role

The impersonate feature must be added to a custom role and assigned to a user. If the user with this role is a manager, they will be able to impersonate either all employees or only employees within their assigned business unit (depending on a company's configuration).

Using Impersonation

  1. Press the profile link (upper right corner)
  2. Click on Impersonate from the dropdown.
  3. Select the employee name from the list of available users.

You will know you are impersonating someone when you see the employee's name in the upper right corner. To stop impersonating, click End Impersonation that displays underneath the employee's name.
