Incomplete New Hires: Designate Employee as Rehire
On the Create New Hire screen, there is a checkbox to denote a new hire as a Rehire in the system. If a manager enters an email address that already exists in the Onboarding module, the Rehire checkbox will be checked and will disable. Managers also have the ability to mark a new hire as a Rehire, even if the email address entered does not yet exist in Onboarding.
Custom Employee IDs initially assigned to a new hire can be reused when a rehire goes through the onboarding process using the same username. The original ID displays by default for managers in the Employee ID field (on the additional info tab) and can be overwritten if managers prefer to assign a new custom ID
