Job Requisition approval process can be created to designate contacts that need to review a posting before it goes live.
There is no limit to the number of job requisition approval processes that can be created in the ATS.
An Approval Process can have up to 15 levels of approvers. Multiple approvers can be to a single level. Each approver can have a designated backup.
Approvers on the same level will get a request email at the same time and only one needs to approve the requisition for it to move to the next approver level.
The user creating a requisition request or creating a template can designate the correct approval process for that job.
Navigating to Job Requisition Approval
- All configurations to job requisition approvals are done from the "Job Req Approvals" sub-menu found under Administration. To begin, click
- Click How to Enable Job Requisition Process
- When you arrive, you will see any existing job requisition approvals process, if any.
Add Job Requisition Approval Process
- Click
- Enter the following information:
- Enter the name of the process in the 'Process Name' field.
- Select the user from the dropdown that should receive an email notification once the requisition has been approved for posting.
- To add an additional approver, click
- A new box will appear. From the dropdown choose an approver, assign the level, and designate a backup approver. If the backup should always receive notifications check the designated box.
- Repeat as necessary for any additional approvers, backups, and levels.
- Click .
- A summary of the approvers will show in the Process Description column for each process.
Edit Job Requisition Approval Process
- Towards the right-hand side is an Action column. Click
- Make any desired edits to the process name and/or the recipient of an email once the job requisition is approved.
- To add an additional approver, click
- A new box will appear. From the dropdown choose an approver, assign the level, and designate a backup approver. If the backup should always receive notifications check the designated box.
- Repeat as necessary for any additional approvers, backups, and levels.
- Click when finished.
Deactivate Job Requisition Approval Process
- Towards the right-hand side is an Action column. Click
- A window will appear asking to confirm the deactivation. Click
- A confirmation will appear in the top left.
Duplicate Job Requisition Approval Process
- Towards the right-hand side is an Action column. Click
- A window will appear asking to confirm the duplication. Click
- The duplicate of the Job Requisition Approval Process will appear in your listing. As the duplicate will not have any indicator that it is a duplicate, it is best to edit the name of the process to reflect that.
Viewing and Reactivating a Deactivated Job Requisition Approval
