Millennium Field Setup Requirements

In order to implement the synchronization between Millennium and Core HR, several tables must be populated with identical values in both systems. In Millennium these tables are accessed from the Miscellaneous Tab on Company Setup. In Core HR these tables are accessed from Setup > Field Value Setup.

  • Employee Type - Configurable in both systems. Field length is limited to ten characters. Syncs to the Code field in Millennium (not the description).
  • Termination Reasons - Configurable in both systems. Field length is limited to ten characters. Syncs to the Code field in Millennium (not the description).
  • Ethnicity - Configurable in both systems. Field length is limited to ten characters. Syncs to the Code field in Millennium (not the description).
  • Supervisors - Configurable in Core HR on an employee by employee basis and is setup on the Employee Information Tab. The names that appear in Core HR must be added to the Supervisors table in Millennium exactly as the names appear in Core HR, First Name Last Name. This syncs to the Supervisor Description in Millennium (not the Code field). Supervisor sync is an option that may be turned off on the Admin Console.
  • Workers Comp Codes - Completely configurable in both systems. Syncs to the WC Code in Millennium on the Work Comp tab.
  • Cost Centers – Cost Centers are configurable on the Departments tab in Millennium. Each Cost Center level in Millennium must have a default value.
  • Employee Status – This is configurable in Millennium, but is not configurable in Core HR. Millennium must have the following values setup: A (Active), LOA (Leave of Absence), R (Retired), T (Terminated).
  • Other values may be setup in Millennium, but those values will not sync to Core HR. The values “Full Time” and “Part Time” in Core HR both sync to Active in Millennium.
  • Other Information
    • Deduction Codes are synced by placing the Millennium deduction code on the corresponding benefit in Core HR. A code group must be created in Millennium with the name “Core HR”. Only those codes that are selected in this code group will sync.
    • All Pay Rates in Millennium must be imported into Core HR before the first sync. This includes the Pay Rate history. Any rate not imported into Core HR will be deleted upon sync.
    • The Hours Worked field In Core HR on the Employee Information tab syncs to the Default Hours field in Millennium. This value must be the per pay period hours worked.
