In-Depth: Manage on ExakTime Mobile

Manage is a section of ExakTime Mobile that allows you to view and add employees, locations, cost codes, equipment, and groups. The available options are controlled from ExakTime Connect so you can limit what an employee can access.

Manage on iOS

Accessing Manage

Manage can be accessed by pressing the three lines in the top left and pressing Manage. You will see available options such as Employees, Locations, etc.

Viewing Entities

Tapping the subject such as Employees, Locations, etc. you will be able to see the list of active items.

Viewing Entity Information

Tapping on an item will show you the details of that item such as address, contact information, etc. Depending on what you are viewing, you may have more options.

  • Locations, for example, allows you to set the GPS coordinates for a location based on the GPS provided by your phone, see where the location is on a map, and use the address for navigation to or from the location.

Adding New Entities 

New items can be added by pressing the + icon in the top right where you can enter the general information for the new item.

  • Note: When adding a new item, it will not be available on all devices initially. You will need to sync ExakTime Mobile to send the new item to ExakTime Connect. The new item will be added and be made available for all other devices when they sync.
