ExakTime Mobile Comments

ExakTime Mobile Comments offer your employees the ability to add comments with their time record when they clock in, clock out, or both.

This will allow your employees to provide relevant information that is directly connected with a time record so they can better document their day (e.g. any issues when they started or ended their day).

Enabling ExakTime Mobile Comments

  • Go to Manage and click on Mobile Settings.

What The Employees See

When clocking in or out, the employee will see a prompt to enter a comment to associate to their time record.

Avoid Emojis

When entering a comment, avoid emojis. Emojis can cause issues when exporting time via AccountLinx.

When clocking in, they will see the prompt to enter a comment near the end of the process.

When clocking out, they will see the prompt at the beginning of the process.

What Administrators See

The comments that your employees enter will be seen on their time card underneath the associated time record.

  • If the employee adds a comment when clocking in and clocking out, both comments will be combined underneath the time record.
