How to Clear Your Web Browser Cache/Cookies

As you go to websites, your computer will store data in cache and cookies. The web cache is basic website data (website logo, icons, etc.) , while cookies are used to track and store your preferences, passwords, etc. When you visit a website, your web browser is downloading and storing dozens, even hundreds of pieces of data in a cache to speed up this process for future visits.

If a website makes any updates to one of these files that have been cached, your web browser may use the older cached file instead of the most recently downloaded file. If there are any issues when viewing or using a website, it can help to clear the web browser's cache so it can download the latest data.

We have provided the instructions for the most popular web browsers below. If the steps do not match, you may be using an outdated version of the web browser.
