Testing your Time and Labor Management Setup

Testing is an important step in the TLM implementation process. Now that your configurations have completed it is time to test them. Groups take different approaches to testing, some choose to roll out the system to end users and begin recording data in tandem with their previous method in order to compare results. Other groups will simply create test employees and have a single admin run through the process.

Both processes have merit. Rolling it out to end users will give you a greater sampling and be more likely to catch discrepancies that may occur under specific circumstances while having a single user go through the process with test employees means you will potentially catch issues before any of the end users interact with the process.

Regardless of the approach to testing, once some form of data has been recorded in the system the configuration for the exports to payroll can begin.
