Yes, the system would require a different workflow for each on-boarding process.
It is recommended that you use the Applicant Tracking System to hire your employees. The ATS feature a job category system. providing you access to launch a specific workflow for different job types. For example, you can create a specific workflow to launch when someone in the Production department is hired, as well as launching a different workflow to launch when an administrator is hired.
While you will be required to create a workflow for all of types of on-boarding processes that your company may have, you would be able to configure each workflow to launch when a specific employee is hired.
