Tracking your Time and Submitting PTO Requests for Core HR

To track your time or submit time off requests, you will go to the following website:

Tracking Time with Time Clock - Punch

  • Log in to your Employee Portal Page
  • When you arrive, you will see a Time and Attendance tile like below.
    • Click Clock In if you are clocking in.
    • Click Clock Out if you are clocking out.
    • Click Break In or Lunch In when you are starting your break or lunch. When you are done with your break or lunch, click Clock In.

Tracking Time with Time Clock – Entry

  • Click the menu in the top left, expand My Time and click View/Manage Time.

  • Click the appropriate pay period highlighted in yellow.

  • From the Actions drop-down menu, click Create Time Clock Records.

  • Enter the necessary fields:
    • Time In & Out time.
    • Enter your info on OT and Compensatory time here.

  • Click Add Record.

Tracking Time with Timesheet

  • Click the menu in the top left, expand My Time and click View/Manage Time.

  • Click the appropriate pay period highlighted in yellow.

  • Click Add to Timesheet if you do not have any available time entry fields.

  • Enter the appropriate hours.
  • Click Save Timesheet.

Tracking Time with Timesheet with Cost Centers

  • Using the menu in the top left, expand My Time and click View/Manage Time.

  • Click the appropriate pay period highlighted in yellow.

  • Use the drop-down menus to select the appropriate cost centers and click
    Add To Timesheet.

  • Enter the appropriate hours.
  • Click Save Timesheet.

Reviewing Your Time

  • To review your time card, click the menu in the top left, expand My Time, and click View/Manage Time.

  • You will see all the current pay periods with the current pay period highlighted in yellow. Click the date of the pay range to review.

    • Records – You can view punches and time totals, but not make any changes. Only your manager can make changes to punches for you.

  • Comments – Select a date and enter a comment for your manager, if needed. Your manager will see your comments while viewing your time card.

  • Emails – Any emails generated by the system will be displayed here.

  • Submit Time Card – After you have reviewed your time card and your punches are accurate, you will click Submit Time Card. You can also print a copy of your time card to either a PDF or Excel file from this tab for your own documentation.

Request Time Off

  • To request time off, click the menu in the top left, expand My Time, and click View/Request Time Off.

  • You will see your Time Off Balances on the Time Off Summary tab. Click the Time Off Request

  • Highlight the days you want to request off.

  • Click Add Selected Dates

  • Enter the number of hours for each day you want to request off and select the type of time off.

  • Click Submit Request.

  • You will receive an email response from your Time Manager indicating if the request was approved or denied or you can return to the “View/Request Time Off” to review the status of past requests.
