Adding a Review Form - Properties

On the properties tab you will have to:

  1. Name the review form
  2. Enter a description if desired.
    • The Description entered can be seen only by administrators when they hover on the icon on the Reviews screen (Settings > Performance Management > Reviews).
  3. Select the review type. For more information about review types, refer to the Review Types section.
    • A review form that includes the employee will allow employee to also complete the review
    • A review form form manager/s only will be assigned to the employee record but is only completed by the manager/s
  4. Check the box to allow managers if you would like them to be able to read and view what the previous person has written before completing their portion
  5. Hiding the timer will not turn off the 20 minute system log out. If a user is inactive for more than 20 minutes they will be logged out. The timer can serve as a reminder
    especially if the review requires a lot of writing. The user can click on "Save and Continue" but still be able to type into the review form.

Review Types

The following is a table of available review types:

Review Types Description Reviewers
Employee

When this Review is created via the system scheduler process, a single review record will be created.

The employee will be the reviewer, in other words, the employee will complete the review.

Employee & Manager

When this review is created by the system scheduler process, two review forms will be created.

The Employee will be the Reviewer for one Review. The employee’s Performance Manager will be the reviewer for the other Review.

Employee, Manager & Second Level Manager

When this review is created via the system scheduler process, three review records will be created.

The Employee will be a Reviewer for one Review. The employee’s Performance Manager will be the reviewer on the 2nd review form. And the employee’s Performance Manager’s Manager will be the reviewer for the 3rd review.

Employee, Manager, Second Manager & Third Level Manager

When this review is created by the system scheduler process, 4 review forms will be created.

The employee will be the reviewer for one review. The Performance Manager will be the reviewer for the 2nd review. The Performance Manager’s Manager will be the Reviewer for the 3rd review. The Performance Manager’s Manager’s Manager will be the Reviewer for the 4th review.

Manager

When this Review is created via the system scheduler process, a single review record will be created.

The Manager will be the Reviewer; they will complete the review on the employee that the Review Form was kicked off against.

Manager & Second Level

When this review is created by the system scheduler process, two review forms will be created.

The employee’s manager and their manager will each complete a review form for the employee

Manager, Second Level Manager & Third Level Manager

When this review is created via the system scheduler process, three review records will be created.

The employee’s manager, their manager, and that manager’s manager will each complete a review on the employee.
